Every correction is written by a person
Nothing is generated, so nothing can confidently tell you something wrong. It names the exact slip — or it stays quiet.
The pharmacy. The NIE appointment. The menú del día. Gaby puts you in the conversation before you're standing in it — you say your part out loud, and it tells you what you got wrong.

Almost — it needs the accent: “qué”.
¿Qué tapas tienen?
▶ Hear itEvery screen here is a real capture — the situations list, a correction mid-conversation, the collection you unlock by learning.
Tapping the right tile is not the same skill as opening your mouth while somebody waits. Gaby only trains the second one.

You don't move on because a timer said so. You move on when you can hold the conversation without help.
Both languages on screen. You tap your line and learn the shape of the exchange.
English is gone. You say your answer out loud and Gaby checks what you actually said.
Nothing to read. Listen and reply. It's hard — and it's the one that matches standing in a shop.
Everything ships with the app. There is nothing to unlock and nothing to download.
Arrival, errands, eating out, paperwork, social life — in the order you meet them.
Built to feed the situations, so every phrase you learn has somewhere to go.
124 Spanish paintings and places — Sorolla, Peñíscola — unlocked by learning, not by paying.
Gaby follows your iPhone. The Spanish is explained in English and German.
Nothing is generated, so nothing can confidently tell you something wrong. It names the exact slip — or it stays quiet.
Not "offline mode" — no networking. No sign-up, nothing to download on first launch. It works on the plane over.
Matching is generous about accents and word order, because being understood is the real-world win.
$14.99, one time. No subscription, no in-app purchases, no ads, no upsell screen, no second paywall.
One price, fully offline, no account, no ads, no streaks. Buy it before you fly and it works the whole time you're there.

Your progress and preferences stay on your device. Your voice is never recorded to a file or sent anywhere. There is no backend for your data to reach — no analytics, no advertising SDKs, no third-party trackers. Nothing to sell, nothing to lose.
None of the three. Gaby is a one-time purchase with no in-app purchases. It ships with everything it needs, so it works in aeroplane mode, abroad, with no roaming and no sign-up.
No. Earlier versions downloaded a large AI language model on first launch — that is gone. The current version ships all its content inside the app and makes no network requests at all.
No. Every Spanish sentence and every correction is written by a person and fixed at release. There is no model in the app and no inference of any kind, so nothing can invent a wrong answer.
Matching is deliberately generous — a missing accent or a different word order passes, because being understood is the real-world win. If a specific answer consistently won't pass, that's a bug worth reporting.
Beginners start at Guided, where both languages are on screen and you tap. If you already have some Spanish, go straight to Practice or Real on any situation — the levels are yours to pick, not unlocked in order.
Gaby is built for iPhone and also runs on iPad. There is no Android version, and it is not verified for macOS.
